Special Day

I was looking at the forecast yesterday, and I noticed (in the certainly accurate 15-day forecast on Accuweather) that it might snow on Reagan's birthday. I told her that, and this was her response:

"And Morocco Bama's going to become president on my birthday. It's gonna be a special day for me."

I'm glad Obama's scheduled that for her!

Serious Questions

We're hanging out and eating dinner with Justin and Charlotte, and Jenny and Justin are coming up with tough questions for everyone to answer.

Jenny: What would be the best pet to have?
Reagan: A little, teeny mouse.
Jenny: A hampster.

Jenny: What name would you rather have?
Jenny: I'd rather be named Jenifer.
Justin: I'd be named Jenny.
Charlotte: I'd be named Jenny.
Reagan: I'd be named Jenny.
Lee: Thor.

Jenny: What is your favorite type of cereal?
Jenny: Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Reagan: Reese's Puffs.
Charlotte: Rice Krispies.
Justin: Golden Grahams.
Lee: Shredded Wheat.
Katie: Lucky Charms.
Reagan: I changed my mind and want to do Lucky Charms cereal.

Justin: If you could wear one accessory, what would it be?
Jenny: A pocketbook full of 99 trillion dollars.
Lee: I might like to use a cane.
Justin: A really awesome hat. A really incredible fedora.
Charlotte: Some awesome heels.
Katie: Some kind of shoes.
Reagan: A purse.

Jenny: What would be your favorite movie?
Jenny: Date with the President's Daughter.
Me: Really?
Lee: What about Twilight?
Jenny: Twilight! I say Twilight!
Lee (modifying the question): If you had to be stuck in a room with one movie looping itself for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Reagan: A volcano with fire.
Lee: Episode III.
Charlotte: American Movie.
Katie: Sound of Music.
Justin: Fellowship of the Ring.

Jenny: What is your favorite show of all time? Your favorite comedy show. And your favorite other show.
Jenny: Mine would be iCarly. My favorite other show would probably have to be, um, I'm gonna have to say, I can't think of it. Oh, I got it. Ranma.
Katie: That's a comedy.
Jenny: Well, you get to do 2 comedies or the second one's not a comedy.
Charlotte: Arrested Development and The Office.
Reagan: I need a turn. iCarly and Drake and Josh.
Justin: Arrested Development. Evangelion.
Lee: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and PTI.
Katie: Friends. Gilmore Girls.

Jenny: What is your favorite book?
Jenny: I'd have to say the American Girl doll ones.
Charlotte: It.
Reagan: May I Please Have A Cookie? (read by Jenny)
Katie: Breaking Dawn.
Justin: Lord of the Rings.
Lee: Silmarillion.

Jenny: What is your favorite place to be in the whole entire world?
Jenny: Home laying on the couch watching TV.
Charlotte: Home in my bed.
Lee: Home in my bed.
Justin: That's really tough.
Katie: The bath.
Justin: I'm gonna say (something I didn't understand) in Patagonia.

Jenny: Would you rather have a worm farm or an ant farm?
Jenny: I'd rather have an ant farm because worms need lots of dirt and dirt is messy. No actually, worm farm, because worms need lots of mud.

Justin: If you could hang out with any character from any movie, who would it be?
Jenny: Kirsten Swan. (She means Bella Swan from Twilight).
Justin: The Balrog. It's really Gandalf the Grey for me.
Lee: Anakin Skywalker.
Charlotte: Cillian Murphy's character in Sunshine. Oh my god, I would hang out with Freddy Krueger.
Katie: Edward Cullen.

Justin: If you could hang out with any character from any book, who would it be?
Lee and Justin: Aragorn.
Jenny: Bella from Twilight.
Katie: Jacob would be the most fun to hang out with.

I'm done typing these for now. There were cooler ones before I started typing, but I can't remember them now.

Merry Christmas!

Not surprisingly, the spoiled children did pretty well for themselves today. Apparently Reagan was very concerned that Santa wouldn't bring her everything she wanted because she might not have been good enough, but it wasn't really a problem. We had a great day with all our visitors, and now I'm so full I can't move.

Here are a couple pictures from the day.

And thanks to Mario, it is now easier to get to our blog, photos, and videos. He purchased euregirls.com for us for Christmas, so you can use:

www.euregirls.com for this blog
photos.euregirls.com for my flickr photos (more Christmas pictures are there)
videos.euregirls.com for our youtube videos

Exciting!

Wii Fun

Note to myself and everyone who reads my blog and may be here over the next few days:

We seriously need to take pictures and video of some of the fun that we can have on the Wii together, such as:

-We already know that Rock Band is the most fun. And downloadable songs are supposed to be available for the Wii really soon! And it's possible to capture the most awesome expressions when we're playing.

-Disney Sing It is a great game. For some reason (mostly because I can't sing), I was very hesitant to do any singing on Rock Band, especially when there were actual good singers in the house. But Reagan and I aren't afraid to duet on some great songs on this game.

-Wii Fit is going to be the secret answer to me getting in shape. Of course, I'll probably be over it by the end of the week, but based on my 2 days of Wii Fit experience, I love it. And I want to unlock everything! While it has kindly informed me that I'm overweight and need to lose some, it has also correctly informed Jenny that she is a healthy weight. And all the balance games are fun to watch. Apparently Jenny and I are both very unbalanced and unable to avoid a soccer shoe in the face in the soccer ball game.

It's going to be so much fun over Christmas! I didn't even mention Dance Dance Revolution 2 that I haven't opened yet!

Performances

Both girls have had performances at gymnastics and dance over the last few weeks. And obviously (from my other post) I spent a lot of time uploading videos to youtube last night!

First, Jenny's gymnastics performances.

Floor:

Bars:

Balance Beam (this one's from far away, but you can still see her):

And Reagan's Christmas performances (note that Reagan has decided she doesn't want anyone to see her back, so she always has to wear a shirt over her leotards):

Video Time

These are a few videos that Jenny recorded over Thanksgiving. Mostly things that don't really need to be shared with the world, but that will amuse some people. Keep in mind that these were all taken before Charlotte cleaned the house.

War

I just got home from some shopping, and I came in to find Lee and Jenny playing War (the card game). I've been working on dinner, and I just told them that it was about ready, so they shouldn't play another game.

Jenny: Can we play more later?
Lee: Probably after dinner.
Jenny: Then I'm gonna kick your ass.
Lee: What?
Me: What did she say?
Lee: She said she's gonna kick my ass.
Jenny: I meant to say B-U-T!
Which causes us to laugh. Followed by:
Jenny: I meant to say B-U-T not A-S-S-S.

So now we're pretty sure she probably uses that kind of language with her friends.
