Jenny's Writing

We went to an end of year celebration at Jenny's school tonight, and they gave us folders with all of her writing for the year that seemed like perfect blog posts to me! I'm not going to post them all tonight (even thought I'm tempted because some are so great), but I will post a couple of my favorites.

I'll start with a long one, Jenny's first story for the year. All spelling is Jenny's. You'll have to miss out on the illustrations because I don't feel like scanning.

One sunny bright day I went outsid to feed my fish. As I tossed the food in 1 of them hit the lilypad and a door opened. As it opened my mouth opened in big surprize. I could tell something fishy was going on because I could see my dog sniffing the water. It had a small sighn that said hi. Don't come in inless you have glitter.

I had no clue what to do because there is a seceret door in my back in my pond on a lilypad!!! I was freeking out about if I should go in because I would like to no why what ever is in there would need glitter?

As I was looking in the door I saw some glittery wings quickly zooming past the door so I coulden't see what was behind the door because all I no is there is a seceret door in my pond and it is making me want to jump in so I have made my disijan and they answer is...yes.

Once I was in, a fairy handed me pink lemonade and some blue balloons. It was so cool! I coulden't beleve what I saw, little people with sparkly wings. I wished I could stay here forever but I can't. I had to quickly get ready to go because I could here my mom calling my name!

All the fairies quickly shuved me out right when my mom was about to get mad. My mom took me inside and kept on going on about how worried she was. But still I will do it again tomorrow.

Now one poem:

And last for tonight, one journal entry. I would say she revealed some things about life that she didn't really need to, but that's okay.

That story is incredible. It's exciting to see that her imagination is slaying it. In a glittery-sparkly way.
